Terry Lawrence

In a career spanning over forty years in the refrigeration industry, Terry began as an apprentice, and worked for number of years as a commercial refrigeration mechanic. In 1981 he established Lawrence Refrigeration Pty Ltd, and over the next 15 years grew the business to a staff of 55 and an annual turnover of $29 million. Specialising in all aspects of supermarket and convenience store refrigeration and air conditioning, Lawrence Refrigeration became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Austral Refrigeration Group in 1995.

Terry continued working within the Austral Refrigeration Group as a Director for a further 7 years before founding Supermarket Energy Consultants Pty. Ltd. in early 2002.

The key assets Terry brings to the work of the Green Cooling Council are his extensive practical and managerial experience within the Australian commercial refrigeration industry, and his in-depth knowledge of industry networks.
