Working groups
The proposed working group organizational structure will consist
of the following:
- A Working Groups Coordinator, engaged as
contract employee of the Green Cooling Council. His/her responsibilities
will include:
- liaison officer between the working groups and the TAFE institutes
- ensure consistency in appearance and content for the deliverable
for each working group.
- control and scheduling of activites of all working groups,
in coordination with each WG chairperson. Arrange, attend and
minute all working group meetings
- collect and file information collected by all working groups
- collate and compile information and WG member contributions
into technical guideline documents
- collate and compile information into training course material,
both for TAFEs and internet training
- internet training system administration (future option)
- Four Working Groups Chairpersons, engaged on a retainer-fee
basis, each an accepted expert in the specific field of refrigeration
(CO2, NH3, HCs and Secondaries). His/her responsibilities will
include:
- Appoint working group members, in cooperation with the WG Coordinator
and the Executive President.
- Control and guide activities of the working group.
- Review all materials produced by the working group to ensure
factually accurate content.
- Develop WG budget and control expenditures.
- A variable number of working group Members. Each
WG Member either offering his services on a voluntary basis (e.g.
as employee of larger organization) or on a fee+ expense basis
(individuals or freelance operators).
The WG Coordinator or Chairpersons may select to engage technical
writers to assist with the preparation of documentation, where this
is found to be a cost-effective option.
It is also likely that the Hydrocarbons working group will require
the services of a legal advisor to assist with the preparation of
guideline documentation.
